| Re: what does it mean when you have a really bad sharp pain on the right side of your
Hi..
I may not be able to tell you for sure but it looks like MIGRAINE..
My father recently since last 2 weeks has been suffering from pain on the left side of the head starting above the left eye and extending to the back on the left side..
Today morning after waking up he described the pain as a nail has been hitting on the left side forehead above the eye..
We could'nt realise about it earlier that its a migraine but after searching over the net, i think its a migraine..
The doc also suggested an MRI Scan to be done. Going to get it done today.
Now I am worried because there can be a lot of other reasons as well for prolonged headaches n i am praying that its just migraine and nthg else like tumor or hammorage... sory for the typo
Going to see a neurophysician as well after the MRI scan with the results..
So hopefully we can come to a conclusion of what the reason for the prolonged headache is and how to cure it.
I have searched a lot of stuf on this over the net.. some accupuncture and massage on certain areas of the head helps in relieving from the pain..
One of the main reasons i feel could be the eye.. my dad wears spectacles coz the right eye cant see nearby things clearly.. he can see far things.. dont knw i gues its called nearsightedness.
now i am also worried coz the left eye was normal but the pain is on the left side of the head.. which means that maybe his left eye s getting strained.
His work involves a lot of hours on the computer, approx 5 hrs everyday for 5 days a week which could be most probably the reason as well..
well i am hoping to get a result soon will post it, really tensed for him and hoping he gets well soon..
IF ANYONE CAN HELP PLEASE POST UR REPLIES
Regards
