After my Mom died I started getting a stabbing pain right side of my head, I just kept taking pain killers everyday, but the headache continued for 11 weeks. In the end I paid to see a specialist, had brain scan, everything o.k. It was all stress related, but try not to take too many pain killers because thats what happened to me my body got used to them so I had to stop taking them to get rid of my headache in the end. I know that sounds silly but the headache did go. I still sometimes get the same pain but I now know it is when I am stressed.
