norco for headaches

i have trouble swallowing pills. everytime i take a norco, it gets stuck in my throat. i choke and eventually have to spit it up. since it is not time released, does anyone know if i can crush it or is there some other way to take it

I used to cut them in half when I only wanted to take half of one. It was fine. I also took it for headaches.

break it in half, drink a glass of water before you swallow, then place half in, fill your mouth with water, try to relax, breath through you nose and swallow.. drink more water and repeat, after it is down, eat a piece of bread or a cracker to relieve that feeling you didn't swallow.. some times eating a small bite of food before hand works. or Eat it with a piece of food you know will go down w/o much chewing, try with (pre-made) pudding or jello or such.

you can also cruch the pill and mix it with a little jam and swallow it like that
