Migraines return/change after treatment
I was diagnosed with Chronic Daily Transformed Migraine. I started on 60mg of Propranolol and within 1 week saw improvements. Over the span of 4 1/2 months, I had only maybe four migraines, all of which came on after having foods I now know I am allergic to. I am on a strict diet. In mid-Oct., I relapsed back into daily migraines despite the diet and medication.
An increase in Propranolol dosage does not seem to be helping. Abortive medications like naratriptan, eletriptan, and frovatriptan worked for a short time but now do not stop the migraines. In addition, the types of migraines I am experiencing are almost totally different and much more severe.
Has anyone else had their migraines return or change after initial treatment?
