Hi there... do any of you females suffer from menstrual migraines? Have you found any relief for them? I take the pill and have been on the same one for about 10 years. I only recently (past couple of years or so) developed regular migraines during that time of the month. I get occasional migraines from stress or other reasons, but my menstrual migraines are by far the worst! My doctor has me skipping the placebo pills to only have 4 periods a year instead of 12, which has cut down those migraines considerably. Still, they are affecting my life a lot. It hasn't looked good for work. I typically feel the worst on one or two days, but even so, I can't miss work every time this happens for the rest of my life.
When I get one of my most severe migraines, they typically do not last as long. If I am able to catch it luckily in time and try to treat it, it just gets delayed and hits later. Then, sometimes it will be slightly less severe, but will last a full week. Either way isn't good.
What kinds of prescriptions might be best to try for this? I have already cut out much of my other migraines. I was able to identify many of my triggers. I can't eat any chocolate, avoid wine and champagne, stay well hydrated, use good sunglasses, try to sleep as much as I can, exercise regularly, don't go too long between meals, use different mind exercises to help control stress... all of this has greatly helped me. Since I don't currenty have a prescription (luckily it hasn't been as much a rush to go to the neurologist since I have cut down on the migraines so much), I take ibuprofen and have caffeine when I feel one coming on. I used to take excedrin migraine, but it now gives me rebound migraines, so I avoid it unless it's an emergency... and I'm prepared to feel bad for a week or two.
I'd appreciate any advice

thanks in advance!
