I have had a headache for 3 days that lasts seconds but occurs every 10 minutes. It is in one spot in the back right of my head. It is not sharp, and the pain is not unbearable, but it is very uncomfortable. It seems like the pain is a little better than yesterday. Maybe a 3 on a scale of 1 to 10. I am really worried. I will go to the doctor Monday if it keeps up, but I am so nervous to get an MRI.
Don't be afraid of an MRI. I have had several. Even as a migraine sufferer for many years I had beautiful MRI's. MRI's are important, they can catch an issue before it becomes a problem. Not sure that you'll even have to get one done. Your doctor will determine the neccesity.

Bang-on iluv! Thank goodness we have these modern tests to help us. KG - it's natural to be a little nervous the first time you have an MRI, but the technician will walk you through it, and it will be over before you know it. That's if you need one. If the pains are subsiding, that is a good sign that it is only temporary. Good luck, and let us know how you make out?
