First my eye gets blurry, then....

Either my left side or my right side of my face, hand, and arm will go numb, and then I get the worst migrane ever and I end up throwing up. Anybody have any idea whats going on? Does this happen to anybody else? I could use some helpful words from somebody.

Sometimes blurred vision is a symptom of migraine onset. It's called "aura." Migraine pills may help to prevent them. Also, you may want to see a neurologist just to make sure nothing else is going on.

Seeing a neurologist would be a good idea. I do agree though that this is a migraine aura. If you have migraines for more than I think 10 days out of a month, you should see your GP/or a specialist. Treatment for migraines are pretty much tablets that stop you throwing up, and prevention-type medications which can be beta-blockers, some forms of anti depressants and anti-convulsants.

Re: First my eye gets blurry, then....

Numbness likely means that there is some kind of issue going on with your nerves. My old doctor had asked me about this because they are common with a pinched nerve. I'm not sure much about it being only temporary, but perhaps your migraines bring this on in some way. I'd definitely bring it up to your doctor so they can look into it more.

Unfortunately the vomiting is a regular migraine symptom I know I get that every time with a severe migraine! I feel like I have a stomach virus at the same time and have trouble taking my migraine pills since I just throw them back up. I use a dissolving kind (Maxalt MLT) that melts on the tongue, but even that is tricky for me to take and sometimes works better than other times.

I would definitely talk to your doctor and see what they think and consider migraine medication. You may have to try a few and see which one you like best, and even then, it might not work every time! For me, it's very important to try to catch it at the very beginning and take medicine then, before the vomiting happens. I would keep the tablets in my purse at all times and would also keep a tablet near my bed, in case I wake up and start getting one! Hope you get this figured out soon and find some relief!
