| Re: Headaches in the back of my head
I wonder if what you feel is similar to my symptoms... the back of my head and neck hurt all the time and have a lot of pressure. My doctor told me it was myofascial pain syndrome. Basically, the muscles there are constantly contracted. Throughout the day, the aches tend to radiate upwards, and on the worst days, can turn into a migraine. Does that sound similar to what you are feeling? I always hear that back of the head aches may be tension headaches, but this is definitely a different kind of feeling for me.
I understand how you feel about the medical bills, because I've spent quite a lot on treatments, even with good insurance coverage. The specialist copays alone add up quickly when you see them so often! I bought a book on trigger point therapy and also a book for spine problems in the neck. Surprisingly, they had some of the exact same exercises my physical therapist had me do! Although I'm still trying to find a cure, the books seem to help me more than seeing the physical therapist!
