Questions concerning atypical migraines

I am wondering if atypical migraines..meaning migraines without much of a headache can cause light headedness and dizziness? I get floaters sometimes in my vision while driving or looking into the sun...Ive had persistent dizziness and light headedness for at least six months? Does anyone have better knowledge of what an atypical migraine feels like

Re: Questions concerning atypical migraines

floaters after looking into the sun...ummmm yeah thats normal try not to do that. dizziness and light headedness. could be, im usually in to much pain to really take full notice of that. those symptoms can also go along with sinus preasure or truth be told lots of other things.. but mostly I would say migrains mean pain, floaters tin taste in mouth, nausia, pinching in eyes and forehead, etc usually means precurser to lotsa pain to follow. then you get all of that along with supersensitivity to sound light smells temperature. feels like your head might pop if you touch the wrong spot. I suggest if you r looking for a true dx speak with your dr,s as it could be serious. good luck

Re: Questions concerning atypical migraines

Hi Sean844,

There is are acephalgic migraines which are essentially migraines without the pain (or minimal). You still get the aura and other visual disturbances as well as other standard symptoms that come with migraines, however these typically don't last longer than a couple of days. If it's been this long I wonder if it could be some kind of inflammation or even something neurological? It would probably be best to check with a physician just to make sure.

Please take care.

As a side note, you might want to get your eyes themselves checked as well, to rule out any disease or disorder of the eye.
