My intractable migraines are letting up!!! Why?

Well, since about first to mid January, I've had a diagnosis from my neurologist of "intractable migraines" with a period of status migrianes (16 days strainght). I saw her yesterday and showed her my migraine diary from this month and last month (forgot it last time) and she just starred at it and said, "you are having headaches every day". I said yes I have been. She said, I haven't seen a patient this bad in quite some time. She asked if doubling my topamax to 200mg and magnesium to 1000mg and vitb2 to 400 had made any difference and I said no. I told her imitrex was not working for me anymore and that while I liked Cambia as long as I'm not throwing up, I refuse to take it b/c it's way worse than vioxx for causing cardio and stroke. So I asked to try midrin for an abortive med bc I've never tried that and its not a triptin.

Anyway, my point...my severe tension headaches and 4-5 migraines a week are getting better! And honestly I can't tell what exactly did it b/c I started taking two new things at the same time. One is a suppliment called "feverfew". It is all over the internet sold in natural migraine formulas, but I just bought it by itself at a vitamin store b/c I already take the mag and vit b....but my pcp also put me on a low dose of lisinopril...its a blood pressure med used for preventative migraines. I don't have BP issues, but when I have a migraine my BP is usually 150/110....documented several times at the docs offices and ERs and home....so I'm actually feeling safe being on it anyway for that reason.

Anyone on lisinopril or another BP med that has helped?? Or anyone heard or tried feverfew?
