does my employer need to notify my if they modify my health contract? If they do how much notification do they need to give. It is a self funded plan and regulated by erisa. My state insurance office said they did not know the answer since they do not regulate self funded plans.

In my case the answer is no. My employer has done this three times already.each time was an improvement so sometimes it can be a good thing.
