Oh my, please don't break your nose just so insurance will pay for it! Your insurance *may* pay for it, depending upon your medical condition. If it is done for cosmetic reasons (just to make it look better for instance), insurance probably won't.
You said your nose isn't straight. Do you have a medical condition such as a deviated septum, problems breathing, etc. that would qualify you to have it fixed surgically?
If you haven't already been to a doctor, I suggest you see an ear, nose and throat doctor (ENT). He/She will be able to exam you and tell you your options.
