I'm 23 years old,live with my bf and we just moved to DC.he has individual insurance,he has become partners with his company.I'm still on my jobhunt and no insurance.I'm due for the annual exam,i was supposed to go in January,2003.I applied for the carefirst it is blue cross.I applied for the blue preffered which the annual dedeuctible would be $300 and the coverage level is 90%.It's been almost 4 weeks and nothing.My boyfriend applied for the same and got it in less then a week.Is this happening to me because i'm unemployed.I've had blue cross before in Arizona but why does it take so long.And if anyone can suggest any other healthinsurances in the DC or Virgina area i would be more than thankful.
