If you have limited income and resources check to see if the state has an insurance program for low income residents. This will be your only option as you can not obtain health insurance for a condition once the condition is diagnosed UNLESS you or a spouse take a job that offers medical insurance upon employment beginning and you can prove your last insurance plan ended less than 63 days prior to the new coverage beginning.
