Well I had my ALJ hearing on 1-18-2012 and 2day I checked the mail and seen the ODAR envelope. I was nervous about opening it but tore it open like a mad man regardless. Typed out right across the top was my new favorite words. FULLY FAVORABLE.. I have been waiting for this day for SOOO long. I was getting bummed out knowing I am having another back surgery next Wednesday. But now I am on top of the world. My ALJ has a reputation of approving very few, but my attorney had said mine was a slam dunk not to worry. Now I can breath easy. I will have a CDR in 24months it says. Nothing has changed since 2008, so I am not concerned with that at all. For all those out there who SS wants u to give up, myself and many others on here are the exact reason why u fight til the end. I will be due 38months of back pay and just hope my monthly amount is what I figured it up to be. Not the 808.00 the local office had told me last week. I had a great earning record for the 17 years I did work. Right now I am just totally stoked knowing my wife can quit working like a slave and spend some time with me and the kids. That check each month will be all the reason why.. Thank u Jesus!!!

All the more reason to use a good attorney when you file a claim for SSDI.

I fully agree. You paid for this disability insurance. You became disabled. You are entitled to collect on the insurance.

Don't worry, what you figured is probably closer to the actual amount you will receive each month.

Nol where close to the 808.00 the local SS ofice had told me. I was surprised to hear but very happy also. More for the family and my 2 kids will get more. So all around a GREAT day
