How long will it take
My wife was denied after the application stage. She obtained a lawyer and appealed it. While waiting on a letter about weather she was approved or denied the second time, we called our local office and was told she was approved. A few days later we got a call from our local office and they were getting information on the family. Just trying to get a time frame, if their is one, on how long it will take to start receiving benefits. We are in Little Rock, Arkansas.

I believe once approved it is around 30 to 60 days depending on if ssi or ssdi or both and to add family members, calculations for backpay if any. I agree check your account daily.

It took a month from my ssi denial to receiving my ssdi backpay, so know that it will be coming soon. Timelines are hard because.it is different for everyone.
