Question?
In my previous thread I mentioned about my hubby speaking to the lady at the payment processing center on Saturday she called to verify his bank acct info, she also put him in the system as paid, the SSA office saw that he was in a paid status today so he can start receiving his monthly benefits, she also told him that she was calculating his backpay the same day.
My question is when he went to the ssa office today they told him his lawyer hasn't been paid yet? Doesn't the lawyer get paid first before the backpay is issue?
My next question is does the payment processing center issue the backpay or ssa, since the payment processing center called him she told him that she was not ssa but the payment center does that mean he will be receiving his backpay soon?

The payment center takes care of all payments , they will pay your lawyer first out of your backpay and then send you the balance.
