I had my hearing on June 4th and I have been checking on my status with my lawyer. She says that it is in unassigned writing. Im not really sure what that means, or how long it will take to get it assigned to a writer. I am FREAKING out.... how long does it take to go through that process?

yes...she said that she has no idea yet. How long does it take to have a case assigned
to a writer?
My understanding is that it can take 30-60 days from your hearing to when you receive your decision letter. It varies based upon the judge and the decision writers case load.
