| Fully Favorable Decision
I received my letter from the SSA dated July 13, 2012, Notice of Decision - Fully Favorable. It also states that another office will process the decision, and if I didn't hear anything within 60 days of the date of this notice, please contact my local social security office.
Does this mean it will be an additional 60 days before my case is FINAL? In addition to that, how long before my "backpay" check will come and how long before my "monthly" benefits start?
I've been reading somewhere about "6 months" from the date of onset of my disability that I don't fully understand. My approval is valid from January of 2011 so does that mean I will receive backpay to that date or will my backpay only go from July of 2011 to present?
I've read several answers on this site but the majority of them seem to be from the early 2000's. Has anyone dealt with these issues that has a more recent answer?
