The best thing to do is to call a heath insurance agent in your state and discuss the options. There are so many variations by state, company, etc, and the laws are changing so fast.
Worst case, once you get a rate, you are locked in for a year, and a lot of companies do work that way. But at the end of the year, if your weight is healthy, they'll probably reduce your rate.
They might also have some form of HELP for members who want to lose weight. Even if it's just a 10% discount on a gym or nutritionist, that's something, and it can't hurt to ask.
