I think it's quite a few thousand dollars - enough to make me want to go back and get the bachelors when I'm done and then move towards being an NP, where I know I'll be making about $100G's. I know in Florida, we're so desperate for nurses and other people in the medical profession that the state is offering housing deals, such as if you work in the medical field you only have to put down $500.00 or 1% (whichever is LESS) as your down payment on a house. My cousin and his wife are in the medical field (he's a dentist and his wife is a physician) and together they make about $500,000.00/year and they put $500.00 down on a waterfront home worth over $250,000.00!!!
