| Nursing entrance exams
I am preparing to take the LPN nursing entrance exam on saturday. I am wondering if that will determine if I will get in, or if that is just a first step in the acceptance into the program. I know work experience and interviews are a part, but if I do poorly on the test (say average or less) will I not get in? I have been out of school a long time and I do have the practice book, but so much of it I can't re-learn. I took the reading comp/verbal skills/vocabulary etc.. and if done on percentage, I only got a 59%. BUT, I am testing under abnormal circumstances as I am in a lot of pain and that interferes with my ability to concentrate. I have a pinched nerve and bulge in my neck, DDD and bulges in my low back. I have a file in the disability center to assist in the reflections of score and pain etc... I appreciate any help you all can offer. this is huge to me, and I could use some advice.
thank you,
Melissa
