I have asked this question before. In the end, the jobs that they perform are very similar. The difference is the educational path that they take. Find a few schools that offer those educational paths and compare the courses that are offered and required.

There is no such thing as a nurse physician. You might be referring to the new Doctor of Nursing degree but they are not MD's or DO's as the name implies.
