Regarding Patient Abandonment

If A patient refuses treatment at a hospital to pursue other treatments and later (2 weeks later) returns for the therapy, can the hospital refuse to accept that patient for the original therapy suggested?

No, I do not believe so. Under what grounds? I can not see it as being acceptable.
