 Cardiovascular sonography?
I'm considering an associates degree in cardiovascular sonography from a CAAHEP accredited program. Hoping someone here can advise me on a couple of questions:
1) Is there really a high demand for this profession? The BLS says yes, but they are not always accurate. I think the field seems very interesting, but I want to pursue something practical also.
2) In terms of getting certified and hired, is there much difference between community colleges vs. private schools (along the lines of Keiser). I know the private schools are more expensive, but I'm more concerned with how they are viewed by hiring managers.
