Please help. I am confused about Med School and Nursing school

Hey,
I am a college student who has been in a dilemma since 2009 summer. I got accepted into nursing school and at the same time got accepted into a program that helps college students to get to Med school . I decided to go to nursing school because I felt like it would help me finance my way through medical school and gain experience in patient care. The problem is that I've always wanted to be a doctor and now that I am in Nursing school i feel like It's not working out even though I am doing fine. I feel like I should quit and pursue med school but at the same time I am afraid that i will not have a place to fall back to. Should I just finish the two year degree and then pursue Med school or should I quit and start the journey now? please help me because i am really frustrated about this. thanks

When you say that nursing school isn't working out even though you are doing fine -- what do you mean by that?

And in order to get into med school you have to have a Bachelor's in something first, so technically you aren't slowing yourself down by doing nursing first.

Nursing and Med school are TWO completely different tracks.
I'm in Nursing school. Med school is WAY more science-based.
Go with Med school and stick with it. Nursing will not finance
your way through Med school. You're not going to be able to
work anyway.

Sign up for scholarships early on and often.

Hey kiddo, with the goons we have running the show now the reserved thing to do would be to get your nursing ed under your belt and then go for it. The economy is a few years away from recovery. NOW. if you are rich or win the lottery...go for your dreams.... Regret always sux and is always with you.
