Going to College in Guatemala for medicine.
I am a senior and so far the plan is to go study medicine at the university of San Carlos de Guatemala. However, I have heard that being able to practice in the United States is difficult for foreigners. I handle 3 languages pretty well.(English, Spanish and French) I am not a permanent citizen, but I am allowed here under a certain type of Visa which allows me to study here. However, I do not qualify for any scholarships since I am not a U.S citizen. That is the main reason why I am studying in Guatemala. I was born in Guatemala as well.
How hard is it to get a medical degree in Guatemala and practice here in the USA?
