Characteristics of a Future Med Student

Hi,

I have been debating switching my major to pre-med, but honestly am having quite a hard time. I am having difficulties figuring out if I actually want to be a doctor. This probably sounds crazy, I don't know if this is something all students go through.

As of right now, I know that I find the human body to be very interesting, I am personable, I like solving problems and I want to have a stable job with a good income. But I feel like I lack the desire to "change the world" in a sense. I want to help people and make them feel better by finding out what's wrong with them. Does this sound like good qualities of a future doctor?

I have been really struggling with this and would appreciate any advice you can offer!
