Perricone is bright and personable with some intriguing ideas. Overall though, I'm inclined to agree with mellowfish; don't embrace anyone's ideas too fervently who's hawking goods on TV...(even PBS!

He's a dermatologist and probably more on target when he sticks to SKIN health. I haven't read his book but from the TV presentation which has been on a zillion times over the years, he sometimes tends to take an accepted fact and then torture it beyond recognition, and then to truly inderstand the concept: YOU MUST BUY THE BOOK, VIDEO, CREAMS, etc., etc.

Just add more Omega-3's than you feel you need to account for the "aging differential" and all will be well. (We all get more than enough Omega-6's...less absorption would be a BLESSING!
