which juicer

I am wondering what type of juicer to buy. Any expert long time juicers out there with good info? Does anyone happen to know which type the gerson therapy (for cancer) uses?

Re: which juicer

The Jack LaLane juicer is probably the best. Quiet motor but gets more juice out than other juicers. Can fit a whole apple or cucumber in shoot, so no chopping necessary. Juices all veggies including green leafy stuff and wheatgrass. He has an impressive infomercial every Saturday and video.

Re: which juicer

to get the most nutrition out of the juice, buy one with a low RMP to the motor. the faster it spins, the more it heats up the juice killing all the awesome nutrition in the juice. it also causes more oxidization if it grinds it up really fast. i use the omega line of juicers but cant remember which model. i have cancer also and bought the juicer for the purpose of getting as much nutrition out of the juice as possible.

Re: which juicer

I have the Jack LaLane Juicer. It works well, but the clean up takes forever! Other than cleaning it, I like it. I would find a better one, though.

Here's some info I found re: Gerson therapy...
