Steam bath and San Pellegrino

Hi,

I am new to this forum and I have two questions:
1. We have a steam bath in my building and I wanted to know what is it good for? (health wise off course)
2. I heard that sparkling water is almost as bad to the body as diet coke. Is it true? what about natural sparkling water such as: San Pellegrino

Thanks,
Isaac

I read in "Dr Gundry's Diet Evolution" that brief exposures to extreme temperatures is good for health because marginal (unhealthy) cells get dumped, and new cells are "born" to replace them. Also, I have heard that sweating is good for cleaning the pores of your skin.

One caution, however, is that breathing steam has the potential to be harmful. For example, the steam may contain Radon gas or spores of a fungus. Everyone is different so some people may be susceptible to respiratory problems and others may not.
