my ears are clogged but no wax in ears they say.

ive been to a few ent guys and they both tell me there is no wax in my ears.but my ears feel clogged. When i puff my face up with air i can hear there is something in both my ears.the last ENT i went to said there is another tube in the ear that they cant see when they look in and that i will need exploratory surgery on my ears to find out with it is.does anyone else have this problem or is it just me.Ive been dealing with this for years but the last few weeks it just makes me feel like crap. i don't know what to do i just want my ears clear again. The ENT gave me some pills to take for allergies but it did nothing. i even tried peroxide in my ears but that does nothing also.i hate this i really do it even makes me a little dizzy at times.anyone?

Hi, I'm new to this site and saw your question. Have you had any hearing test done? Check with an ear specialists regarding your clogged ears, have them test you for Meniere's disease. (there is a web site to give you info and symptoms). Does loud noise bother you? do you have ringing in one or two of your ears? How is your hearing? A directic / water pill might help to unclogg your ears. You can get them over the counter at drug stores or your ear doctor can prescribe one for you.
Hope this helps.

ctbo,

You've got a middle ear plugged with mucous/pus- probably made worse by a cold that moved up your eustachian tubes. Try Sudafed (pseudoephedrine...maybe 25 mg) a couple times a day and drink lots of hot liquids (broths and tea) and take long steamy showers. Be patient.
That ear inflating method will help lots as well....just do it VERY CAREFULLY to blow one bubble in...that will help push the crap out....which you are loosening with the moisture and meds. Best if standing or sitting upright.

If you still have any sign of a cold...DON'T INFLATE the ear, you might just push more infecting agents UP!
