it truley takes a skilled and informed dr to dx this condition, they can watch the palate and the middle ear, but sometimes they see nothing, they have to catch the muscle in the act, some tympanograms can pick it up as well.
and of course a few drs can dx this just by the symptoms.
i also had the tendons severed and it has helped a great deal....
botox is an option.....if they really know how to hit the palate right....
