| sound distortion in right ear
For the past year, I've had distortion in my right ear when hearing certain noises, usually it acts up when my kids are yelling/screaming. The vibration is like listening to a stereo that has the bass turned up too loud, and the sound is distorted.
I went to a GP (I thought it was a wax build-up) and he said my eardrum doesn't move much when he blew on it. So he prescribed an antibiotic, thinking it was an ear infection. It didn't help, and it seems to be happening more frequently.
It's not all the time, not necessarily even every day, but it is annoying. Does anyone have the same thing, or recommend seeing an ENT? I guess since the eardrum isn't moving, something is going on behind it. I don't have any popping or clicking that others seems to have on this board; minor problem compared to the rest, but any feedback is appreciated, thank you!
