permanent hearing damage from someone sneezing into my ear?

yesterday, someone sneezed into my ear at a point blank range by mistake. immediately afterwards there was a numbness followed by a slight pain. the pain went away after a while but the numbness/discomfort persists even after almost 24 hours later today. there's also a small loss of hearing. I'd like to know if this condition will be permanent or will I heal out of it eventually?

the discomfort level is not as high as yesterday but has not decreased significantly.
