Sudden right ear hearing loss
Four days ago I started with sinus congestion and right ear hearing loss. I went to my primary he said that there appeared to be fluid trapped in the inner ear so I started antibotics, still not satisfied I requested a visit with the ENT. The ENT stated that fluid was not the cause but that something has caused the nerve in my ear to stop working properly. He precribed a full dose of prednisone along with the current anitbiotics. I also had an MRI today,no results yet. After reading previous aritcles it appears that I should also be taken vitamin E along with everything else. It is pretty frustrating to sit here with only one hear operating, hopefully in time it will get better. does anyone think going straight to steriod injections would be more effective?
