| Advice from anyone please, have i damaged my ears??
Hi, i dont know much about ears and am looking for any advice on my situation.
2 weeks ago, i was at work and blowing up a tyre to make the bead seat itself. i had pumped in 120psi and noticed a buldge on the sidewall, i knelt down to feel it, my face was about a foot from the tyre and as i got close it simply exploded. it pushed me through the door 4ft behind me, the pain from the sound was like being punched in the face by a gorrilla. the cords in the tyre split and pushed out metal shrapnel in my face at 120psi, i had a few cuts very close to my eyes which luckily only got a bit of debris in them but my ears suffered the most.
people came running over and everyone was talking to me but i couldnt hear anything apart from a high loud ringing sound. they all sounded like i was underwater.
2 weeks later and i can hear normally agen however i still get randomn periods where all i hear is a high pitched ringing sound. especially when i get into bed and everything is silent.
does anyone know what this is and will it ever go away.
