I operated on march 12,2011, after operation i felt good i heared almost every thing surrounding me, but suddenly after two days i lost it, although it is some good condition before operated position

will i recover it.

SandeeP80... I was operated on Feb 18th and to be honest with you I was one that really could not hear much after my operation. I did know something was different because I could hear if I rubbed the cottonball or my earlobe. I would say to be patient...something I was not...seems like everyone on here is different right after the operation..some could hear amazing with the packing..others not..I was a not. When will you have your packing out..I was 10 days after surgery. remember there is alot of swelling..blood.. Things seemed to change for me at the three week mark..that is when I started noticing my hearing was improving..but if you look at other posts some have amazing hearing as soon as the packing is taken out. Just follow your doctors orders and don t do to much...take it easy... and relax...

With all the packing in your ear I'm amazed you can hear anything. Wait until the packing is removed and then you have to wait until the packing in the inner ear melts out.

It's waaayyyy to early to evaluate your hearing. Hang in there. In a couple months the ear will heal up and you will be able to determine how the surgery went.
