Question about hearing loss after wisdom tooth extraction
my cousin had surgery last thursday on his wisdom teeth. On monday he started complaining about hearing loss and almost deaf in one ear.
He went back to the doc and the doc almost got angry that he would even mention it.

Ive googled it and it comes up with alot of mixed results.

He then went to a different doctor today and told him this

you have sshl (sudden sensorineural hearing loss) and need immediate surgery or you face almost certain total hearing loss! Ur shittin me right doc???? Surgery it is, 6 a.m

Any comments would be appreciated, thanks

How is your cousin? Did he have the surgery? What did they discover?

I didn't say anything because I've never heard of that happening to anyone and didn't have anything "constructive" to add.

Lele, I do not advise landing on your head! It can seriously screw up your hearing! Fell New Year's day 2011, had surgery 5/12/11 to fix the ossicular chain dislocation, I have a new stapes now.
