Hello Precious..
I had my hearing test at the audiologists. I went to my Ear,nose,throat Dr. first then was sent to the audiologist after for hearing test. I also purchased my hearing aid at the audiologists. I ended up with a behind the ear type and it worked really well for me. I was told the one I had worked best with my type of hearing loss and it was the middle of the road as far as expense..$2400.00..there was another model that was abit more expensive but my audiologist felt this one would work really well for me... but if I felt i needed more then we would return it for the next model up..
I was also surprised to find that my health insurance paid 700 towards the aid...I was past excited ..so many people i have spoken to did not have anything from insurance....
