Hello,

Reading posts on this board and on the internet suggests that once one is diagnosed with SSHL, it's pretty hopeless in terms of chances for recovery. I haven't come across a single success story, yet, at least.

My symptoms started Saturday and I saw my ENT today (Wednesday). Just started the steroid cycle this evening. Right ear near complete hearing loss, loud ringing that varies in pitch. Any other suggestions while I'm in the early stages of SSHL?
