I had my stapes surgery last month. My hearing seemed better at first, but the 1 month follow-up hearing test showed it wasn't as good as she thought it could be and she said I may need a revision. I'm a bit bummed out as my hearing seems to be in decline. She wants to wait a few months and then do another hearing test. I'll probably have to wait another year because I'm going to another state for a year of school.

Hi Dear friend,
Sorry but same is my situation. I am having severe noise and amplified environmental noises too in my ear. Dr gave me booster dose of steroids and like wise an other hearing test in a couple of months.
Let see what happens next.
