Audrey now has a cochlear implant
 

I wrote on this forum about a month or two ago. Just to update my granddaughter's status ~~ she now has a cochlear implant and once it's healed, she will have activation!! She has something called auditory neuropathy, which is where the auditory nerve doesn't fire correctly. I hope this helps her to hear. We should know in a couple of weeks.

Good luck to your grandaughter!! It is terrible having a hearing problem but it is so exciting when you get your hearing back. I have my fingers crossed for her....
