Laughing after Stapedectomy

I know is may sound daft, but is it OK to laugh after a stapedectomy? I had my op a couple of days ago and have managed to avoid coughing and sneezing, in spite of some near misses. I got a fit of the giggles last night (30 hours after the op) and it occurred to me that this led to the equivalent of head jerking and adverse pressures within the nasal and hence Eustacheon tube.

Am I overpanicking about the possibility of it affecting the prosthesis?

Re: Laughing after Stapedectomy

Funnily enough, exactly a week later I atched Have I Got News for You. Laughed again, felt something "click" in my ear. Went to bed, woke up and now I can hear.

Laughter is indeed a great healer :-)
