Hearing is very loud for a second during a yawn.

Hi. I had a stepdotomy for otosclerosis a couple of years ago on the left ear which helped with a lot of improvement and since then my right ear has gone down. I am told the fine hair nerve-ends are ok in that ear. I cant understand when I yawn my hearing in my right ear is so loud for a second that I jump with its sudden volume going so loud.

Any help info would be appreciated. I did tell my ent about but they said they think its the eustachian tube.
Hope this is clear what I mean.
Many thanks.
