| Hear everything distorted
I have read a few threads of people with the same problem but I have not seen anyone who said it went away.
In one ear I have pressure changes throughout the day for no apparent reason. When the pressure changes I hear everything distorted. Like someone talking through a kazoo. This includes my own voice. Music. Other peoples voices. It gets real bad in loud places like restaurants. I have had this for two years. I also hear popping in that ear.
I had a stapedectomy done prior to this problem. My doctor said he has no idea what it is but says it is not from the operation. Two months ago I had him go back in to make sure the prosthesis were secure and working properly. They were and the problem still persists.
If anyone has any ideas or a really good ENT in the NY CT area please let me know.
