Angina would most likely be experienced during your exercise on the treadmill, rather than after. Also, it is normally described by just about everyone as a dull pain that sets in and persists until their exertion level is decreased. The duration of "pain" should always be more than 3 seconds. The mechanism of blood flow deprivation to the heart muscle won't produce a sharp, short pain.
I would say in this case, it was probably a muscular pain, and I get many of those, curiously on the left side
