My doctor has put me on Diazapam!!!!! is anyone else on these

yes i think diazapam is valium??? i take xanax every nite before bed for my anxiety caused by my pvc's, it helps ALOT.

Hi Helen,
I also take Valium(diazapam) on an as needed basis for anxiety. This is the only med that has really helped my anxiety.

i have had panic attacks where xanax didnt help at all...even 1mg (my usual dose is .5mgs) i wonder if valium would work better, have u tried xanax for anxiety??? dont get me wrong xanax works alot better than anything i have taken for my anxiety and works the majority of the time, but it doesnt put me to sleep like it used to, and there have been rare occasions when it didnt help my panic attacks at all.

Hi Kim,
Yes, I have also tried xanax and ativan for my panic/anxiety, but neither one of these meds helped my symptoms all that much. I actually felt a little more anxious after taking xanax for a couple days because it seemed to make my lightheadedness a lot worse. On the other hand, my dad has taken xanax for years and it always stops his panic attacks. It's funny how meds effect people differently.
