Question Chest pressure and tiredness???

Someone I know has been having chest pressure and is very, very tired. They have gone for many tests (heart tests ect.) and everything seems to always come back as normal. Does anyone have any suggestions on maybe what they think or do they have any advice? Thanks a bunch!!

Re: Chest pressure and tiredness???

"Pressure" is hard to quantify. If it's accompanied by pain (often dull) or burning, especially pain that radiated to the shoulders of left arm, shortness of breath and worsens with exertion and abates with a short rest, then it's more likely cardiac.

JUST the feeling of pressure accompanied by tiredness sounds more like world-weary anxiety or ennui weighing upon your friend.

Thanks a bunch, I'll let her know...she's still going for some tests...she hasn't gone to work since December because it's sooooo bad.

Long story , short, I went to the doctor's, he ran three ekgs and said I was just run down and my heart was in better shape than his. He suggested three days off from work with complete bed rest, some multi-vitamins and gave me a vitamin B shot. Guess that's what most doctor's would do for a 34 yr old woman. Three days later I lay in an emergency room having a full blown heart attack. Not meaning to scare her but hoping to save another from going through what I went through. Best wishes and good luck.

Dee thank you sooooo much, it's better to be safe that sorry, I always say. I'll definitely mention it to her, she's only 28 years old but, you never know.
My co-works best freind said she had chest pains 3 weeks ago and then told the doctor last week and the doctor said she was perfectly fine and didn't send her to any specialist in the heart, well this Sunday this 36 year old women told her husband that she didn't feel to good that her chest was still hurting and she went to bed then, her husband went in three hours later and found that she died. I think sometimes, you have to go the extra step to make sure that everything is okay. Thanks so much for the advice!!

Re: Chest pressure and tiredness???

Hello Airees and Dee,

Those are both verrrrrrry scarey stores. First of all, Airees, was an autopsy done on the 36 year old woman that died? Did they find anything specifically wrong with her heart???

And Dee, was anyone able to give you a good definitive reason as to WHY that heart attack snuck up on you like that? Were there any forwarning signs that you were having other than the fatique?

That's really scarey because all those symptoms sound like magnesium deficiency. If a person thinks it something as simple as that, they could start taking supplements thinking everything is okay and it's not.

I've always said that we can't rely on doctors to manage our health. WE have got to take control of our own situations and seek answers on our health conditions. Doctors are there to help us - not to direct us.

Good luck to you both!!
