Hi everybody. I'm feeling somewhat stronger now. It's been ten months since my quad bypass and 2.5 months since my rotator cuff repair. I am in rehab now for my shoulder. They can finally now start me on an effective exercise program for my heart too since they fixed my rotator cuff. It was quite painful at first because of all of the atrophy on the left chest wall and left shoulder. I am finally starting to feel like I will be okay now. I walk two miles 3-4 times a week and I have rehab two times a week. I am still tired sometimes, but not nearly as much as before. So much for the cardiac surgeon telling me that in six to eight weeks after bypass I would be able to run a marathon (?!) That may be true for some people but with the postop hemorrhage and the rotator cuff tear it sure wasn't for me. Hope everyone else is doing okay.

Yeah I know just what you mean ZiptoPlay. They keep asking me if I am having any chest pain. Well heck yeah the big old incision hurts like crazy sometimes. Especially now if it's cold or damp--or give me a little stress and it tightens up and causes me pain. Then that runs into my shoulder and that tightens up. They say is it the same as the chest pain you had before surgery--I tell them I didn't have any chest pain BEFORE surgery. I could be having a heart attack and I truly won't know right now. My chest hurts from bypass and left shoulder and arm hurt from rotator cuff repair. Guess if I turn blue my husband will know to take me in (ha, ha)
